Dr. Walter Martin Debates 7th Day Adventist on Teachings that Conflict with Christianity. The seventh day adventist have revised some of thier beliefs since the airing of this video.

Walter Ralston Martin (September 10, 1928 — June 26, 1989), was an American Evangelical minister, author, and Christian apologist who founded the Christian Research Institute in 1960 as a para-church ministry specializing as a clearing-house of information in both general Christian apologetics and in countercult apologetics.

Continuing education
Martin’s tertiary education began with his brief enrollment at Adelphi University (September 1946-January 1947), followed by attendance at Washington Bible College in 1948. Martin finally settled on taking a degree at Shelton College where he was enrolled from 1949 until graduation with a B.A. in 1951. He further obtained a Bachelor of Religious Education degree in 1952 from Shelton College. One of his best known lecturers at Shelton College was James Oliver Buswell.

In 1956 he received a Master of Arts degree by coursework in religious education at New York University. Martin then proceeded as a candidate for the Doctor of Education degree at New York University. He subsequently obtained a Ph.D. in 1976 from California Coast University (which was known as California Western University from its founding in 1973.

ok, I am for sure on the Christian’s side of this debate so far, I think its fairly clear that the Adventist has no idea what he is talking about so far.

I agree with you …
I agree with you guys. I don’t understand why people don’t keep the sabbath either. Actually the fourth commandment is the only one where God says remember. The first four commandments help to strenghthen our relationship with God. I just really don’t understand.

just a couple of things, why do christians obey evry other commandment except the commandment about the sabbath? why even Jesus said He came to fulfill the law not do away with it, and i’m not a SDA just bible believer not a follower of mans tradition but God’s laws and even if ms white was false , it’s about the sabbath not which religion is right but God’s word…

Keep a sabbath and …
Keep a sabbath and keep the sabbath mean anything. Read Deuteronomy 4:2
John 15:10, Luke 4:16 - Jesus Kept the sabbath
Acts 17:2, Acts 13:13, 14, Acts 16:13 - the apostles kept the sabbath
Daniel 7:25 - specifically a law that concerns time and commandment would be changed

the sabbath day is any day we take out of the week to praise and worship god there is no such thing as the seventh day being the sabbath god rest on the seventh day doesent mean it’s the sabbath read hebrews 4:9

Because of the 4th Commandment o.0 and also in Revelation 12 And 18 its shows how the 4TH ANGEL (REPRESENTING THE 4TH COMMANDMENT) Will stand on the sun and pour a portion of it onto the people. WHY? Because of SUN WORSHIP ITS CLEAR. the 4th commandment is the only commandment with REMEMBER and we know that Jesus never changes. So will you follow TRUTH or TRADITION? Where can you find in the bible to worship on SUNDAY? MARK 16:2 shows how GOD RISEN AFTER THE SABBATH and god rose on SUNDAY!

The fourth commandments is Remember the Sabbath why does it say Remember. and Jesus came not to destroy the law but fulfill the law.Jesus is the lord of the Sabbath. Jesus said if you love me keep the commandments. I think the man Got stage fright. He was also trying not to make anybody mad more mad than they was. Is Jesus come after Tribulation? read Matthew ch 24:29-31 and Mark ch.13:24-28 Tell me what it says. But I do think Jesus is God Jesus and God are one and the same. GBU in Jesus.

I find it ironic …
I find it ironic that the only attacks other religions have against the Seventh-day Adventist is the writings of Ellen G White. How lame indeed! The Seventh-Day Adventist keep the Sabbath as God commandmended. The 10 commandments have not been done away with so stop attacking the Seventh-day Adventist you followers of the beast, you partakers of iniquity, you followers of Satan. Sunday worshiping is the mark of the beast.

Your only choice now is to call me liar and call it a day. I certainly hope what you say is true and that you know that your salvation does not depend on Saturday worship. It is through Christ, the fulfilled Sabbath.

Here we go again indeed. Had Jesus risen by then? NO!

Besides, that doesn’t mean anything. Most Jews and new followers of Christ were still keeping the Sabbath after the fact. What do you think Hebrews is all about? The author, likely Paul or Luke, is explaining to them that their traditions are futile.

There were also other Sabbaths in the Hebrew customs aside from this like the Annual Sabbaths (Leviticus 23:6, 7) for example.
