Neither of them is a good idea. There are much better distance learning opportunities out there. Captain Janeway brought up Empire State College. Guess what? I attend Empire State College. The main advantage is that it is part of the State University of New York system. It also has a low tuition rate. They also offer a BS in Business, Management, and Economics. There are many students around the world that attended ESC. For example, I had an American who was living in China in my macroeconomics course with me. My mentor (just an another name for "advisor") says he talks to students all over the world on a daily basis. ESC is also unique because it requires students to create a degree plan and back it up with a rationale essay. Here is the website: http://www.esc.edu/esconline/online2.nsf/ESChome.html However, there are plenty of non-profit schools that provide distance learning. So it is best to do some investigation. You already have two glowing endorsements from two different schools. But it is also best to look at who else offers what you want. Go to www.petersons.com for more ideas. U of Phoenix is very expensive and has very little public regard. UoP excels at marketing itself and that is probably it’s main strength. Do a search on what former students think of UoP and you will find out that there are better options for you.

Check out Excelsior College ( I am an alumni), Thomas Edison State College, Empire State College, University of Maryland, Peru State College ( low fees and applies same tuition fees to in and out of state students) to list just a few. A more comprehensive list can be found here
