Will an online bachelor degree be discriminated in hiring as opposed to a bachelors at a college?


I’m looking to go RN Associates to bachelors degree, most employers want the four year degree.Since I am an RN already will an online degree be an asset or a problem?

As long as the college (online or campus based) is regionally accredited, any degree you earn should be accepted by any potential employers or other academic institutions.
My best recommendation would be to contact a number of colleges to find the best fit for you and your needs (tuition, schedule, career opportunities, etc.). Too often people enroll in the first school they find rather than taking the time to find the best school for them. Taking that time now could save you a lot of time, money and frustration if you choose the wrong school.

I dont think you can get your BSN online, since you’ll have clinicals.

You should make sure that the school is accredited by one of the national accrediting agencies recognized for overseeing the quality of technical and career schools in the United States. The U.S. Department of Education has a list of several appropriate agencies that they approve. Their website is a great place to start your research.
