What’s the opinion about online Electrical Engineering assoc. degree?
I was thinking about going to online college for associate in electrical engineering? Is that a good thing or do I need a ground-based campus with lab rooms?
EE is one of the few degrees that really rely on labs. You need to learn how to built and analyze circuits and there is only one way in doing that is by going to lab. Im about to graduate with a B.S in EE so I am talking from experience.

If you want a 3 year diploma (sometimes called assoc deg. in other countries) from a community college, you may be able to do it online, and call yourself a technician or technologist afterwards.
If you want an engineering degree (bachelors) and desire to enter the engineering profession, expect to have to attend a University for 4 years, and do the labs. Make sure the University you choose is accredited by whatever engineering board grants engineering licenses in your jurisdiction.
